Light Guides
Slim, molded light guides are light-emitting diode
backlights appropriate for medical applications. The
light guides, which are available for backlighting
liquid-crystal displays, are reliable and do not generate
heat or electromagnetic interference. The guides offer

Vertical Machining Center
A vertical machining center (VMC) is designed
to machine nonferrous materials such as aluminum
and plastics. The M10 Power VMC offers up to
40,000 rpm with a kilowatt high-frequency spindle.
The toolchanger holds 11 small mills and drills with
diameters of 0.002–0.375 in., and the VMC’s x, y,
z envelope is 40 × 28. 5 × 9. 25 in. The M10’s chip
disposal system can be adjusted to accommodate
different production volumes. Intelligent sensors
monitor all operating states of the mechanics, and the PC-based control
system can automatically compensate for tolerance variations. Datron
